What a way to spend a day off!

Took today to go through my room and tidy up quite a bit. With coming up on 6 months i wanted to thin out all the junk I have collected as well as just get myself back on track with a clean room!
Cleaned my side of the counter and got rid of the products I don't use.
organized my side of the closet and did laundry
Took down the Christmas tree and made it look like a welcoming space to bring friends over to.
Cleaned the clutter off of the counter including mail of people who don't live here.
All the garbage and empty bottles. NO they are not my bottles.

I feel very refreshed and had a very relaxing day. There is still so much more I could have done.....

A Haunted Morning

The other morning I was given the opportunity to get up super early and tour the Haunted Mansion!
Part of the gang at 6:00am

We first got to walk the track with the lights on and our tour guides explained everything about the History of the Haunted Mansion and all the Hidden Secrets! They pointed out Hidden Mickeys and Hidden Jack Skellingtons (from The Nightmare Before Christmas). Each room has a back story either involving production or theme of the room. I am not going to spoil it for anyone but what a magical tour. I even got to join the ghosts on the ballroom floor. After our walking tour we got to ride the ride before guests and take flash photos. Not many of my photos turned out as the ride was moving and it didn't focus fast enough!
 Donald Duck Chair!
 Got to pet the bird!

WELCOME 2016!

Got the chance to Ring in the New Year with the Best!
We were chosen to work the Canada Glow Cart all night. We got to spend our night selling made with magic, 2016 light up merchandise and more!
Kevin was not impressed that he didn't get to be in our picture so he had our friend Mandy photo shop him in!
I unfortunately was not able to take pictures or anything of the fireworks. But OH MY GOODNESS was it ever magical!
3pm till 3am with these two is something I will remember forever!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Christmas at the Cabins!

I did not want to spend Christmas in my apartment so a group of 6 merchies (the merchies that weren't going to see family this holiday season) decided to book a cabin at one of the Disney Resorts!
Our Magic Bands had reindeer names on them!
I am Comet -Blue!

Here is a small photo tour of our cabin!

Had such a good night with such amazing people! I could not have imagined it any other way this year! I am so blessed to have made such amazing friends here!!
Because we loved it so much all 11 Merchies are planning to return at the end of January for another Cabin night!

After our post office adventures (spent almost two hours at the post office) Shane, Becky and I went to Magic Kingdom. We didn't go on rides we just wanted the MK spirit!

Just quickly wanted to add to the post office adventure. Becky agreed to take me to the post office... The Saturday before Christmas... not the best ides. I showed up to the post office with three presents that I was sending to Brad's House... But did not have a box for them. I get inside and realise they only have XL or S boxes which will not fit my presents... I then notice a gentleman on the ground cutting up a box as he too had the same issue I did and had wrapped presents but no box. I also see beside him a L box which wont fit his stuff so i nicely ask if he is using it and he said n dear you can have it. So I now made the three presents fit (had to squish them a little bit). I have no tape or anything so I asked the gentleman behind me if I could borrow some tape. He ended up taping the box up for me really well. He also loaned me a large sharpie so I could write on the box. He said he worked in the shipping industry so coming to the post office humoured him. Once I got to the front of the line the guy behind the counter told me I had the wrong customs form and told me to just fill it out and come back to the counter. Even though it was really busy everyone was so patient and friendly. As i was finishing up I could over hear the gentlemen beside me (the building box guy) talking to the lady behind the counter about how he needed it there for Christmas. She explained it would cost more to rush it but he didn't have the money. Then a lady who was still waiting in line yelled "honey you need it there for Christmas we will get it there and reached into her wallet and handed him money as well as two other ladies still in line! This was one of the times I truly felt the true Christmas spirit. Things like this do truly happen in the real world! Me being a sap stood there with tears in my eyes.

Not to talk about it too much but as you may know my Grandpa Furgason passed away December 15th. It was a very rough time for me being so far from home I had no clue how to feel and felt rather emotionless.
I came home one day to this guy sitting on my bed.
My room mates told me that people from Disney had dropped him off.
