Rough Patch :(

Life here is not nearly what I was expecting. Both good and bad, I have to say I am very lucky to have such supportive friends and family to help me through these last couple of days. It has not been easy and I felt like I was going to give up but in the end I know that leaving would be letting the bad people win. As much as I have been through an awful lot in the past week and a bit it is not worth it to let other people ruin my experience and my dreams. So here I am trying to stay positive and keep the multiple countdowns going!

(a friend from the Disney Store back home)


The support from my true friends has been very appreciated and I can proudly say that Merchandise is clearly where I fit in most. So thankful to have met the people I have! Things have hit a low for me and that means it can only go up from here!!! 

Living the dream!

Well this week has been a whirlwind. 

I went to my first Midnight Movie Society on Wednesday night. It is where a bunch of people go to Vanessa and Katie's to watch a movie after work. This week it was 'The Emperor's New Groove". 

Our snack for the movie consisted of 100 McDonald's Chicken Nuggets.

I took a journey into my imagination with Figment (a special character created for epcot)

 Had a Poutine Party at the Le Cellier (The Canadian Restaurant)

 My First full journey around the world! 

 Stopped and had Lunch in Italy. (the sandwich is designed to show the Italy flag. 

The Girls!!!

We went to the Movies on 'The Great Movie Ride'.

Got to sit and watch one of my favorite Disney Shorts. Yes I did sing along. 

The Frozen sing a long, mixture of live action and videos!!

Had a Dance Party with DJ Chill and the girls. One of the best nights thus far!!!

Then we watched the Frozen Fireworks.... I only got the stage show part of the fireworks. I was too close to the stage. I am going back tonight to watch the actual fireworks. (aka more pictures to come)

Celebrate the Magic *SPOILER ALERT*

I took a few videos so that I could share the magic with a few people who I know are unable to come see me this year. Feel free to watch my bad quality videos but I wish and hope everyone gets a chance to see these shows for themselves one day!!! 

Tonight I went to Magic Kingdom and watched one of my favorite shows of all time. It is kind of two shows in one. The first part is called Celebrate the Magic which leads into Wishes (second post)

Just a Regular Day!

Just a few things to show a regular day in my life!!!! 

Starting with the Weather.....

This is just a storm that passed through... It lasted a bit longer then some of our rain storms. 

You can Celebrate absolutely anything!

Highlights of the week

I am still sorry that I don't update as much as I would like. I have been work 8-10 hour days and by the time I'm done work I either go and hang out with friends or try to catch up on some sleep. But I am going to try to update a little more frequently as I do tend to do a lot in a week so weekly updates turn into REALLY long posts. 

For this week although I am super tired I have found time to meet new people and make lots more friends!

 After work the other night I went bowling with some new friends.

 On my 45 minute break I ran across the park so that I could meet this lovely people at the Cast Party for the Food and Wine Festival which is coming up rather soon in Epcot. 

Update on Me

• I am doing really well, 
• I am extremely tired but hopefully that will resolve itself soon. We are a bit short staffed at work so work long hours but we do have a couple new faces joining us this month. 
• Meeting so many new people which is one of the main reasons I wanted to do this program. 
• Learning lots of different things about different cultures including Canada
• Have talked to LOTS of people from Canada's eastern provinces just a handful from the west
• Loving everyday but the days are just flying by which is a good and a bad thing

Went and saw The Little Mermaid show! It was good and I was rather happy

 So happy we found it! For those who don't know Mr. Gold's Pawnbroker is a store from one of my favorite TV shows called Once Upon a Time! and they just have the sign in Hollywood Studios.

Adventures with Becky and Mandy

I am just going to explain my Saturday adventures through pictures. Although not always the best pictures as I forget to take pictures sometimes and my phones memory was full for a little bit but I have cleared it off now. 

The McDonald's we went to in a attempt to meet the McDonald's Characters. This McDonald's was HUGE it had a full arcade on the second floor and some bowling lanes by the dining area. There was lots more things that I did not take pictures of.

That in a nut shell is an overview of one of my days off this past weekend. I did miss pictures of a couple things we did like: we did not actually eat at McDonalds we went to a place called Cracker Barrel where I ate way too much but it was really delicious. 

 I had three days off (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). 

Friday I hung out with my friend Marisa at her dorm as it was raining we didnt go to any park like we had planned to. Instead we played frozen UNO and went to a store called cast connections (a disney store just for cast members!)

Yes I put on a Tinker Bell Dress and it fit everywhere except the arm straps are too tight.
