I clocked out of work on Wednesday March 23rd, Mickey always thanks us for making magic!

At 3:30 am I was sitting here waiting for the terminals to open!
CALGARY!
Before getting to actually relax and settle I had a few things lined up for the day like a doctors appointment.
Here is where we get to the good part!
Back in November I decided that I was going to give my boyfriend the best birthday present that I could this year! I flew home to surprise him!
Was he surprised you might ask?
Yes he was but my video did not turn out as i was too excited and my phone was facing the wall the whole time....
Later that evening we went back to his house where he found out that his family knew I was coming home to surprise him and they never told him!
-------------------------------------------------------------The next day was Good Friday! It started out with my brother coming to Calgary from Edmonton. He walked in the house saw Brad standing in the kitchen and I heard him say "Hey Man". Just "Hey Man" like nothing out of the ordinary! Then I came around the corner out of the pantry and his mouth dropped!
To surprise Sharice I just walked down the stairs and said "I heard a towel was needed down here!". She turned around and hugged me!
Later Sharice and Richard drove me out to Strathmore for Easter Dinner, well Mom and Dad picked up Grandma and headed to Strathmore. We had to stall at Tim Horton's a little bit which worked out for me!
Then it was showtime to surprise my whole family!
The first time in FOREVER that all 6 grandchildren between splitting time between families, jobs and school were able to make it to a Family Dinner.
Mom and Dad dropped me off at Brad`s for a little bit so I was able to see two of his friends (one of them is joining him in May when he comes to see me).
-------------------------------------------------------------`Saturday was my relaxing day! Rich and Dad had boy things to do so Mom and I did our usual girl things! Get ready to go run and grab something for dinner later, plan to go to a certain store, end up multiple different places then make it home in time to pick up Dad and head to Grandma`s for dinner. After a nice visit with Grandma, I was dropped at Brad`s again. This time I learnt a new card game with his parents and sister, I didn`t win nor did I lose I stayed mutually in the middle!

Sunday morning my mom made pedicure appointments for us, my aunt and cousins. A good girls relaxing morning!
The 5 of us went on a Walmart run after before my mom dropped me off at Brad's.
I was invited to Easter Dinner with his family where I got to meet his grandparents, aunts and uncles!
I missed him so much!
-------------------------------------------------------------Monday morning my cousin Krista-Lyn picked me up and went to visit a friend of ours and her little girl. She was born two weeks after I left for Florida!
Never realized how much I missed it there until I walked through the doors, it is a breath of fresh air compared to the Florida Mall Disney Store.
I craved Menchies so we went on to surprise more people as my best friend Tori works there. She thought she was hallucinating as she is coming to see me in Florida in less than a month. She also thought she was meeting up with just my cousin later to talk about their trip down to see me, but surprise i was also there for their planning date!
Adara is one of my little sisters from Job`s Daughters and I was able to Skype into her installation when she was crowned as Honored Queen back in January.
I was really happy that I was able to make it to one of her meetings during my week in Calgary!
Tori drove me to Brad`s after the meeting but of course there always has to be an adventure and her jeep died just down the street from his house.
How I ended up with not a single picture from Tuesday surprises me!
I started out my busy day by going to work with mom that way I could have her car for the day!
After dropping her off I headed to my massage appointment followed by a chiropractor appointment.
After all my adjusting I got to meet up with the two people who really have made an impact on my life. Stevie and Tyler (the couple who told me about the program and encouraged me to apply) met me at Tim Horton`s (my 6th day of Timmies in a row). At first I kind of scared Stevie a bit when I messaged her asking if I could see her, then told her I was just home for a visit. I got to meet her little mouseketeer Arthur who was also born shortly after I left for Florida!
I drove around for a bit trying to ensure I was able to enjoy all the Canadian things I have been missing! After a while got sick of driving and went back to Mom`s work where I took a nap in the car until she finished work.
Once getting home I quickly got ready for dinner at Boston Pizza with Brad, Matt and Stephanie to celebrate Brad turning 22!

Wednesday March 30th I boarded a plane back to my temporary home with only 3.5 months left.
I had a nice long travel day back to Orlando with a 3 hour stop in Toronto!
It is also a very good job that I stopped for my Timmies in Calgary as my gate in Toronto did not give me access to a Tims.

I had a good recharge week in Calgary! It was much needed and I cant wait for visitors to my world in the next couple months! Before I know it I will be at the end of my journey so after this recharge I know that I need to just go back and enjoy it to its full extent!
Before I sign off this post there are a few stories to add that i`m not sure there they would fit in!
- Shane had a few people over Wednesday night and I went to keep myself awake for when my friend Elisea was picking me up at 3:00 am to take me to the airport (bless her). Oh how I love late nights with my Disney Family!
- Once the airport actually opened there was no one at the machines to assist with check in so being Canadian and helpful I assisted the lady behind me and her daughter as they were having issues with the machine. Her credit cards were also not allowing her to pay for her checked bag so she gave me cash and I put it on my card! I felt very Canadian and it felt good to kind of pay it forward It turned out that she was also heading through Calgary to Edmonton. Which meant that together we almost missed our connecting flights as we were standing on our flight from Orlando to Houston waiting to get off the plane while our flight from Houston to Calgary was suppose to be boarding. Lucky for us the flight to Calgary got delayed by a few minutes.
- One of the only things that made me a little nervous about coming home was Teddy! My parents dog that they got a few days before I left in July. He has anxiety so wasn't sure how he would react to me. My parents have been working really hard with him to calm him down. Turns out we are best friends and he never left my side (or the outside of my bedroom door).
I finished writing about my trip home on my flight from Toronto to Orlando!
But apparently I should have waited until I was actually in my bed before I finished the post!
Warning this may turn into a rant of frustration.
Upon arriving in Orlando I got my luggage quickly which made me happy and feel like I had a successful travel with no lost luggage and only a few flight delays nothing major. I then found where the Mears Shuttles pick up only costs $23. What a score! I got sent all over the place to figure out how to get a ticket but in the end I made it just in time before the lady closed shuttle sign up.
I boarded my shuttle and there was one other gentleman on the shuttle. I got comfy and off we went, drove past a turn to commons and that`s when I realized the other guy was getting dropped off first no big deal. The shuttle pulled into commons, I grabbed my luggage and off to home sweet home I went. What a long day! Over 12 hours of travel and it is 1:00 am by this point.
I got to the door put my key in turned it... turned it again... and again.... let out a few swears, banged on the door... No one answered. Then I walked over to security, explained that I was on vacation and one of my room mates left well I was gone so I am guessing that they changed the locks. Security looked me up in the system and told me to wait to the side and they would let me in. I told them I would wait at my apartment as I had luggage sitting at the door. I walked back, banged on the door a little more still no answer so I got comfy. 20 minutes later security shows up and lets me in!
I carry all my stuff up the stairs walk into my empty room and just breathe. Start to grab a few things out of bags to get ready for bed, and then let out more swears when I open my suitcase and there is baby lotion all over... well I guess I forgot I threw that in my suitcase last minute last night...
I run out to the kitchen to grab some paper towels and see that my bedroom almost failed the entire apartment during our last inspection... wait I wasn`t even here.... Could things get any worse, I hope not so I go back to my room attempt to clean up as much of the cream as I can for now!
I am so ready for bed by this time, go to put my Pajamas on, take my tank top off and my tummy kind of hurt so I look down to see my entire stomach broken out in a rash...
What a way to end my trip...
