Kimberly's Disney Adventures: Brad, Ben and Joy in Disney!

Well the time has finally come! I am finally writing about Brad's 2nd Visit to see me.

Yes it was the end of May that he came with his two friends! Sorry it took so long to post.

Warning: It will be a long one!

We stayed in Art of Animation in the Cars Suites. It was to make up for the fact that Walt Disney World does not have Cars Land :( which is one of Brad and I`s favourite parts about Disneyland! With the suite we decided to stick to the theme with our magic bands, each of us had a character. Brad was McQueen, I was Sally, Ben was Doc Hudson and Joy was Flo.

Their first night we ordered a pizza and just relaxed in our room waiting for their luggage while we played some games!

Animal Kingdom

Kennedy Space Center

Brad absolutely loves space so of course we went to the Space Center. I couldn't have been happier as it was something I wanted to do but had not done yet. We rented a car and had a bit of a road trip. There was some nice scenery.

Brad and I went on a special tour of the control center.

Before departing on our tour we were told to hold our chins up and to hold the tops of our heads as what we would see would be jaw dropping and mind blowing!

We drove past the Space X launch pads on our bus tour.

The bus tour lead us to the Visitor Complex.

They have a rocket broken into parts as it would separate going into space.

After the Visitor Complex we went back to the first section of the space center where they have an entire exhibit devoted to the Atlantis Space Shuttle. So cool to see the replica including the Canada arm!

I got to crawl through the tunnels like I was in the shuttle! I felt like a kid in a fast food play place again. The whole exhibit displayed all sorts of things related to the Atlantis; including how they slept, exercised, ate and went potty in the shuttle. We ended the day by riding a launch simulator.

There is so much more to the Kennedy Space Center, I just do not have the time or photos to fully showcase what I saw and learnt. The only thing I can say is if you ever find yourself in Florida please go visit.

Water Park Day

As the snap says it was a water park day so we did not take any photos.

There was also a Space X launch at the Space Center so when we got back to our resort the boys went and sat by the water beside our resort to witness the launch but unfortunately due to weather they were not able to launch. However Brad and Ben saw it from outside Hollywood Studios the next day!
